Just a few weeks shy of the premiere of his highly anticipated HBO action horror drama Lovecraft Country, Amazon Studios announced that another Jordan Peele produced project, this one under their umbrella,”Hunters”, has been picked up for a second season, after a first season premiere February 2020.

The period drama conspiracy thriller, which stars Tiffany Boone (The Chi, Little Fires Everywhere) and Jerrika Hinton (Grey’s Anatomy, Here and Now), will stream exclusively onAmazon Prime Video in over 200 countries.
“Hunters” follows an unlikely team of polyester clad vigilantes based in nineteen seventies New York City who see it as their mission to seek and destroy members of a large sleeper cell of Nazis secretly plotting to unleash the Fourth Reich in the United States. Hinton plays FBI agent Millie Morris who slowly discovers both groups.
The series also stars Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Greg Austin, Louis Ozawa, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Dylan Baker and Lena Olin. Season one of Hunters, produced by Amazon Studios, Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Sonar Entertainment, was executive produced by David Weil who served as co-showrunner alongside executive producer Nikki Toscano. Alfonso Gomez-Rejon directed the pilot and was an executive producer alongside Win Rosenfeld from Monkeypaw Productions; Nelson McCormick; and David Ellender from Sonar Entertainment.
